This will effect userpics / scrapbook / vgift images for the next few hours. Have no fear, your images aren't lost, there is just a really intensive process running on the servers which store the information for mogilefs. Thank you for your understanding and all the LJ love... Hey LJers, I just wanted to let you all know that we are going to be performing some mogilefs maintenance over the next few days. We will be upgrading our current version to latest stable as well as changing some db config information to better handle the amount of files we are currently hosting. This shouldn't cause a big impact on site stability, but you may see some minor delays with userpic / scrapbook images appearing or other requests associated with our mogilefs. We would love to not have that happen, but unfortunately with some of the steps we need to take we have to cause a delay with images. Music is my vice. I enjoy most genres in music, and I have immense respect for electronic and ambient music. I also love listening to female vocalists, such as Tori Amos (there are many more, I assure you). I'm open to all music, and I post about it often. I like all types of film, but recently, I've been watching Mickey Rourke movies because he is awesome. I usually favor the obscure over the mainstream blockbusters. As far as TV is concerned, I enjoy comedies like Mystery Science Theater 3000. If you friend me, expect a lot of entertainment-related banter, random music recommendations, my so-called "deep thoughts", stuff I think is funny, photos, local news, pop culture nostalgia, my spirituality, and my personal struggles with depression and social anxiety. [ Tuesday December 1st, 2009 @ 2:37am] __________addme [itsjustastate] I'm lindsay. i don't know where i'm going and mostly can't make sense of where i've been. i'm a neurotic mess and i don't try and hide that anymore, i think i'm probably really mentally ill most of the time. i'm good to talk to though, honest to the fault, severely loyal, open minded, about as far from judgemental as you can get, funny, sarcastic, entertaining, selfish, contradictory, comfortable, mature, talkative, strange, self assured, i feel emotions very intensely, i'm commonly mistaken for a drunk when i'm happy; i guess because of how intensely happy i can get, but when its the opposite its nothing pretty. i hide my emotions well and do it when i feel the need however. i don't believe in goals, and therefore don't have any; some would call that unmotivated i call it open to the what's happening. i don't plan too far ahead either, i'm more of a take life day by day kind of girl. i hate "planners". i'm more of a doer, i'll say i'm going to do something and do it.. i don't plan for something that's 5 years down the road, which is why i'll probably end up as a lower class citizen that works full time at the local walmart. i have a very sarcastic sense of humor, i can be self deprecating without ever meaning it, i just don't consistently take myself seriously. most people don't know what the hell i'm talking about most of the time, but i swear it all made sense in my head.. i love clothes, tattoos, friends, thrift stores, action movies or you know movies in general, music, crappy teen tv shows, laughing, kool-aid, thinking, cigarettes, autobiographies, drinking, beautiful days, roadtrips, life, writing, mix cds, the simple things in life that everyone else ignores, driving, bands, 90's music... i could go on and on, but i wont. i'm an avid commenter, and as long as your half way the same we'll get along well. comment here or at my friends only entry, whatevers more convenient.
